Gynecological Disorders
In Ayurveda, gynecological disorders are collectively referred to as Yonivyapad, which arise due to an imbalance of the Tridoshas—Vata, Pitta, and Kapha—along with disturbance in Rakta (blood) and Artava (reproductive tissues). These imbalances may manifest as menstrual irregularities, excessive or scanty bleeding, uterine disorders, infertility, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, leucorrhea, and menopausal issues.
Ayurveda emphasizes restoring harmony through natural therapies, herbal formulations, Panchakarma detoxification, and dietary and lifestyle corrections. Specific herbs like Ashoka, Lodhra, Shatavari, and Kumari (Aloe Vera) are known to support uterine health and hormonal balance.
By addressing the root cause rather than only the symptoms, Ayurvedic treatment promotes hormonal balance, regular menstruation, improved fertility, and overall reproductive wellness—ensuring long-term healing and vitality for women.
